  1. U forgot to talk about traders speaking language of Syriac. St.Thomas always preaching through Aramaic language. This was the common international communication language between countries.Still available in Kerala.ܒܗܐܪܐܬ ܡܐܬܐ ܟܝܼ ܝܐܝܼ 🇮🇳(Bharath Matha Ki Jai🇮🇳 in Syric language )

  2. I hate the fact that some missionaries are mocking Christianity in the name of conversion.Tagging Jesus with Yoga poses etc.
    This seems wrong.
Spread the message, whoever humbles himself and accepts HIS Grace let them. Why force them.

  3. All those bashing xian in India think Portuguese is responsible for xian in India… Somebody please ask them to research properly… St Thomas who was with Jesus came and spread the word…those who believed embraced the belief

  4. Your story is not trustworthy because there is not even a single evidence to back it up. Saint Thomas mount at Kerala is a deception. I do not know about Chennai I never visited that place. Being a Christian I don't understand why do we spread rumors. Christianity in India 500 years old and we have a sufficient evidence to back it up. Cheers.

  5. According to Historian and Mystic Shri P R Sarkar, S.Thomas was sent by Jesus the Christ to India. Contradictory as it may seem, Sarkarji claims that Jesus was taken down from the cross, when a raging tempest drove all away , leaving his mother and Magdalene with a few other staunch devotees near Jesus. He was healed in a secret cave for 3 days and reappeared to his disciples. After which he fled to Syria which was not a part of the Jewish or Roman religious control. There he launched his mission. Thomas was sent east towards India. This theory has to be researched further to validate the claims of Sarkarji. It does make sense as there is no proper historical motive for St. Thomas to have come to India at all.

  6. The why – St Thomas like the other twelve were mandated to bring the Jews into the faith, not as Christians but as Jews believing in Isaiah 53. In those days Kerala had a big number of Jewish people that is why Kerla – Muziris was on the list/radar.

  7. American Christianity is an Occult. It's not a distorted view of Christianity it's the real Christianity Hypocrisy Mixed in with patriotism.
Christianity had no issue with slavery as a way of life. )When it came time to protect America, Christians you refused when the Alt-Right and the Neo-Nazis increased during Obama you said and did nothing.

When Trump back these hate groups Christians protected him and supported him. When it came to homosexuality, abortion, Rock Music, Hip Hop Music Christians demanded these things were a sin. Then when Donald Trump showed up with his sexism, racism, corrupt business dealings, and his Narcissistic personality disorder no problem no judgment as long as he could gain power no problem for American Christianity.

Who are you people to accept racism as a political platform? When David Duke supports Trump Christians did nothing, just give me my Tax Cuts and my Judges Mr. Trump. African Americans are being attacked on the streets by Americans for, cooking, sleeping, shopping by Trump Supporters you could care less. When Trump broke the law dealing with Russia you protected him again. Meanwhile, the hate groups are getting stronger, Anti-Governments Groups increase, but you Christians do nothing.

Massive Mega Churches for profit only, please tell me from let's say from the 1950s to 2021 what has Christianity done to make this world better?

It's been nothing but hypocrisy, in American Christianity, you will yell and scream about the right to life, then at the same time throw your children out on the street to die if they tell you they are gay. When is the last time the news came on and said that due to American Christianity, the Homeless rate in America has gone down?

    Never

How many preachers and Christian entertainers couldn't live the word they preach but that profit keeps on flowing in their pockets. I can only judge by the fruit I see, and so far when I look at a parking lot at a Church, I see massive beautiful cars but not a farm to feed the poor.

    No thank you…
You can keep you're Bible. 🔥

  8. This is faith. Not history. If a statement is considered to be a history, certain criteria must be observed. History is a scientific way of pursuit to truth. Today, history is considered as a science. No statement given by science is eternal truth. Because, science is not stagnant.

  9. May I add one more thing here? To visualize south India of 1st century BCE and to find out who were the people St.Thomas evangelized to, one got to scan history of Ptoemaic Egypt, Seleucid Syria, Near East, Armenia and Rome. The direct trade route opened between Egypt, India and Persia brought many semitic people to Malabar. Who were they?
Their story or history so to say is brought up in a historical novel titled : YAVANAPRIYA the story of black pepper and Aramaic Malabari available on amazon as ebook and paperback.
It will time travel you 2000 years back to those glorious days which paved way for St.Thomas arrival in Malabar and Mylapore.
    Happy reading.

  10. St Thomas and St Bartholomew came together to India. Both came to Ophir seaport, that time kalyan diocese (Present Vasai in Maharastra) st Bartholomew stayed and preached in Kalyan and St Thomas went south to Kerala

  11. Thomas the Apostle

India's oldest church, claimed to be the world's oldest existing church structure and built by Thomas the Apostle in 57 AD, called Thiruvithamcode Arappally or Thomaiyar Kovil as named by the then Chera king Udayancheral, is located at Thiruvithamcode in Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu, India.
